Ballin' Bieber

When I say Justin, you think Bieber.....and when I say movie, you think Never Say Never right? Well get ready to broaden your cinematic horizons because the Biebster is due to star in yet another box office buster. Thats right, you heard me correctly JBiebs is teaming up with none other than Mark Wahlberg (last seen in the movie The Fighter) and hitting the big screen.

Apparently the idea hit Wahlberg when he saw Justin playing in the NBA All Star Celebrity game. Thank god good ole Marky Mark was watching! Not much has been released about the film, so as far as a premiere date, I have no absolute clue....but here's the general plot: Justin will be playing an inner city kid who's found himself on the wrong side of the tracks...but loves playing street ball. Mark Wahlberg is due to play his reluctant mentor. I predict from here that the two bond over the game and it somehow miraculously gets Justin out of his rut all while leaving him and Wahlberg as bff's by the movies end....but hey, who am I to say what the movie will entail?!? That's just a guess ;)

What do you think my fellow Beliebers? Does this get you just as pumped as you were for Never Say Never??? Do you like the idea of a ballin' Bieber on the big screen? I for one can't wait to see the film!!! You put Bieber in on or around anything and I am sold! But will the new movie make as big of a bang as the Biebster's first film? Or should Justin perhaps stick to his vocal talents and leave the acting to the professionals. Comment and let me know what you think of a ballin' Bieber, yay or nay?

  1. I say absolutely let him try anything once! he has fans who will see it & let him know if he should keep on with it or not right. Lots of people sing & dance & act, He may be the next big thing to hit the screen. i like the idea of the movie premise itself! love from rkabernathy on twitter

  3. I agree, I'm really excited to see him act in a full length film. I mean ya he was in CSI, but being in a total of 10-15 minutes of a show is much much different! I'm also glad its not a musical, even though I love them I want to see Justin do something he hasn't done before!!! I'm excited to say the least, but with Justin still on his tour right now and due to release a new cd by the end of the year, I'm guessing it's gonna be a bit before we see the film actually hit the box office! With EVERYTHING the Biebster did last year though, it wouldn't surprise me if its sooner than I am thinking either!
